About Chard
Chard is a Vancouver-based real estate development firm with a passion for empowering communities beyond buildings. With over 30 projects completed or underway across Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria, Chard has delivered more than 1,400 homes and 265,000 sq ft of commercial space – and that’s just the beginning. • Liaise with property managers and other stakeholders to support smooth building operations and strong tenant satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor relationships and warranty processes, ensuring vendor performance expectations and warranty conditions are met.
  • Maintain accurate records using CMMS and ensure compliance with applicable codes, health and safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate emergency response as needed.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems and environments to assess trends and ensure energy efficiency

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety.
  • Familiarity with BMS/automation systems and CMMS platforms.
  •  Experience using Yardi, Grata or other similar software
  • Experience working in residential, commercial, or mixed-use buildings.
  • Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations and building codes.

  • Skilled in a range of building systems and able to support troubleshooting and repairs across disciplines.
  • Organized and proactive, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  •  Calm under pressure and comfortable balancing field work with team supervision.
  • A clear communicator who values respect, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality service in every interaction—with Residents, teammates, and contractors.
